The family tree covers an extensive history of winemaking in Veneto, set against the rolling hills and beautiful architecture depicted on the label. Veneto is perhaps best known for producing the Italian sparkler Prosecco. However, its rich soils and sunny climate also make a terrific stomping ground for other Mediterranean grapes like Amarone, Soave, and of course, this rich Valpolicella. Ca’Gregorie created this Valpolicella in the ripasso method, making it the perfect wine for more decadent dishes. Serve with hearty pasta, risotto dishes, beef stew, steaks, or braised short ribs.
