Glimmering soft yellow with green tints, it opens with tantalizing aromas of lemon, lime, and grapefruit. Citrus notes carry through on the palate, where ripe fruitiness and delicate florals are balanced by fresh acidity. A slightly nutty taste lingers on the finish.
Grapes were grown on hillsides in Pays d’Oc in the South of France, a large area known for its high-quality terroir. While the region’s viticultural history dates back to Roman times, there are innovative winemakers focusing on sustainability and environmental responsibility.
M. Chapoutier has been named among “The World’s Most Admired Wine Brands” by Drinks International magazine since the prestigious list was first published in 2011, and it was ranked as the top French brand five times. M. Chapoutier is also known as the first wine producer to feature Braille on its labels.
Alexandre Rochette will shine alongside appetizers like crab cakes and spinach and artichoke dip, as well as Middle Eastern-inspired nibbles, including tabbouleh salad, falafel, and hummus.
